Howdy

     Howdy, I'm Angel Lake, it's a pleasure to meet you! I was born and raised in the Austin, Texas area (and proud of it). However, I currently live in Rexburg, Idaho as my husband and I are full-time students at Brigham Young University- Idaho. Here I study Child Development and have become quite passionate about Child & Family Advocacy. 

     Since this blog is to be dedicated to the family, it seems only fix to introduce mine. I am the oldest of three girls in my family with 13 years between me and the youngest. I come from an interracial family and am part Latina from my mother's side. I cherish both cultures that I have been blessed to be apart of.

     My husband and I met in church, a few days after I turned 18 and he returned home from his 2-year mission in Costa Rica. He asked me out within the hour and the rest is history. We were sealed for time and all eternity in the Houston, Texas Temple in April of 2019. Though we don't have any children of our own yet we anxiously await that time in our lives.

     I hope here we can learn about and discuss the family together!
